We're launching our competitive program for young players ready to commit to professional development and real matches. Every session is coached by US Soccer Federation–licensed professionals who know how to build players the right way.
Who Can Try Out?
Atlas Academy tryouts are open to players:Every training session is intentionally designed to reflect our values.
U8 and older
Showing strong fundamentals and ball control
Motivated to train at a higher level
Demonstrating focus, coachability, and effort
Seeking a long-term competitive pathway
Excited about joining a professional youth development program
Players may come from:
Atlas Recreational
Atlas Pre-Academy
Other clubs/leagues
School teams
First-time competitive environments
Motivation, attitude, and effort matter just as much as technical skill.
What to Expect at Tryouts
Players can expect a fun, supportive, professional environment that includes:
Warm-ups & ball mastery
1v1s, 2v2s, and small-sided games
Position-specific evaluations
Combination play
4v4 or 5v5 scrimmages
Professional coach-led feedback and encouragement
Our goal is to ensure players feel comfortable, confident, and able to show their true abilities.
Tryout Scheduling
Atlas Academy tryouts take place during scheduled evaluation windows throughout the year.
Players may:
Attend one official tryout date
Attend multiple sessions for better evaluation
Request a supplemental tryout at any time (based on roster availability)
Tryout dates are posted on the registration link (to playmetrics)

Academy teams are formed by Atlas Player Development Staff using:

Player Feedback & Development Plans
Every Academy player receives. Seasonal Written Evaluations. Clear strengths and areas of improvement. In-Person Family Meetings

Selection happens fast. Within 48 hours of your final tryout, you'll know where you stand and what comes next.

Selection email sent
You'll receive notification of team placement, individual evaluation notes, and registration details for the Spring 2026 season.
Week of December 20
Team formation finalized
Teams are built by our Player Development Staff based on performance, potential, attitude, and team balance across age groups.
January 2026
Season begins
Training starts with your assigned team and coach. You'll receive your schedule, team roster, and first Individual Development Plan.
